Cancellation policy

For a business dealing with high-value items like electric scooters and mopeds, your cancellation policy needs to be firm enough to protect your logistics costs but flexible enough to maintain customer trust.

Purchase Cancellation Policy

1. Order Cancellation Window Customers may request a cancellation of their order within 24 hours of purchase for a full refund, provided the order has not yet been processed for shipping or registration.

2. Pre-Delivery & Registration Cancellations For vehicle purchases (scooters/mopeds), the following conditions apply:

  • Standard Orders: If a cancellation is requested after 24 hours but before the vehicle has been dispatched or registered with the transport authority, a restocking fee of 10% may apply to cover administrative and processing costs.

  • Registered Vehicles: Once a vehicle has been registered in the customer’s name with the Transport Malta (or relevant authority), the order can no longer be cancelled. At this stage, the transaction is considered a final sale, and any further action must follow our standard Return Policy.

3. Custom or Special Orders Any "Special Orders" (e.g., vehicles with custom paint, upgraded components, or specific non-stock configurations) are non-cancellable once the customization process has begun. A non-refundable deposit may be retained for these orders.

4. Shipping & Logistics Costs If a cancellation request is received after the item has been dispatched from our warehouse but before it reaches the customer:

  • The customer will be responsible for the original shipping charges and any return freight costs incurred by Go Electric.

  • The refund will be processed once the item is returned to our facility in its original, unopened condition.

6. Refund Processing Approved cancellations will be refunded to the original payment method within 10 and 15 business days. Please note that bank processing times may vary.
